With reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become part of our internal IT organisation, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 50+ dedicated colleagues supporting all Kamstrup divisions globally. More specifically, you will become a part of our IT Infrastructure team, where we are responsible for ensuring a stable and secure network operation. The team is characterized by close teamwork and professional approach.
A job with a holistic approach to network infrastructure
In the position as Senior Network Specialist, you will be a key player in the ongoing development of our network infrastructure by supporting key business activities as well as Kamstrup network infrastructure globally. Therefore, most of your work will be centred around improvement project which you will visualize and shape. In addition, you will be working closely with our other Specialist in the development and operations of Kamstrup’s key network services. Together you will envision and create the foundation for Kamstrup’s network infrastructure.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
Personality matters
There are many entry point to this position with different educational background. However, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience from a similar role from which your professional skills allows you to give input to system and infrastructure architecture on a global scale. In addition, we expect you to have extensive Cisco experience and certifications.
It is a requirement that you are experienced in:
As a person you are ambitious and have a structured approach why you thrive in taking initiative and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You are able to work in a complex organisation, and your good communication skills enable you to navigate with many stakeholders, deadlines and timelines. As you will be working closely with another Senior Network Specialist in many aspects of your work it is also necessary that you are a strong team player and can build personal relations within your team.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.

- Work with input from Kamstrup divisions to ensure optimum alignment in the development of networking services
- Identify and implement improvements to the network infrastructure
- Perform 3rd level troubleshooting and resolve network related problems
- Give advice on recent developments in network technologies and infrastructure
- Plan and coordinate critical test and maintenance activities
- Act as a key sparring partner for Network Specialists
