As the Associate HEOR Director, you will be responsible for setting the Health Economics and Outcomes strategies and planning for key pipeline products in Diabetes. You will drive and execute this strategy into the project development planning and among other things lead trial evidence and publication strategy to generate HEOR incl. patient-reported outcomes evidence to ensure that market access needs are well-integrated into our planning for gaining access for our future Diabetes assets. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead in the initiation, development, and implementation of Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies and plans for pipeline assets and ensure consideration and implementation of market access requirements into development plans across the Diabetes pipeline Lead evidence generation to substantiate Core Value Dossier and Payer Value Story with credible Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Patient Reported Outcomes messages Lead internal and/or external training and presentations on Health Economics and Outcomes Research to disseminate and communicate research findings across the organization Drive external HEOR engagement activities to inform and drive our approaches and consider trends and their implications for access strategies within Diabetes You will be part of a matrix access team and you will collaborate with other Global functions across the value chain. Further, you will engage proactively with the broader network of market access stakeholders in Operations to deliver best-in-class HEOR strategies and plans for our Diabetes assets to provide Global support during the pre-launch and lifecycle management process. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: Master’s degree in a relevant field Comprehensive HEOR experience (+5 years), both from strategic and operational market access roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry and/or a consultancy company High degree of business and industry insight, and you have solid experience with setting the direction and the strategy for your area Fluency in written and spoken English We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, strong commercial understanding, and a high degree of ambition, personal drive, and ability to work independently. It is crucial to have analytical skills combined with a strategic mindset for this role. It comes naturally for you to identify new and innovative approaches when driving projects and deliverables related to our assets. About the department
The Diabetes Market Access department within Novo Nordisk is part of the Diabetes Franchise and drives the Global market access strategies for our Diabetes portfolio. The Diabetes Market Access team sets the payer-facing direction for Novo Nordisk’s future drug portfolio within Diabetes as well as drive pre-launch and launch activities in close collaboration with regions and affiliates.
