Global Obesity Market Access is part of the Obesity Therapy Area and is crucial to the commercial success of products in Novo Nordisk. This is your opportunity to join an international, high-performing, and social team while working with one of the most wide-ranging product portfolios for the treatment of Obesity in the industry. The team is based in Søborg, Denmark, however; we will consider candidates who are able to work onsite or remote. The position In this position, you will mainly be working with our marketed obesity products but also be involved in projects related to some of the most innovative obesity pipeline assets in our Novo Nordisk history. Our team drives strategic planning and implementation in close collaboration with the regions and markets for our obesity assets to drive access for our obesity products. Your work will focus on bringing products to market and drive access, which can improve the lives of millions of people living with obesity around the world.
As Global HEOR Lead, you will be responsible for: Driving the global HEOR strategy for current and future assets Developing ‘state-of-the-art’ health economic tools Supporting local market implementation through data-driven and robust evidence Working closely with a broad range of markets and support with HTA submissions, model adaptations, launch strategy, and value tools to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and ambition within Obesity Increasingly, payers set the bar high for the requirements to get access for new innovative products and the demand for high quality, robust health economic analyses, and strong clinical data have never been higher. You will therefore be involved both in the early phases of new clinical programmes where you will be responsible for providing relevant access input (including design, comparators, endpoints, patient-reported outcomes [PROs], statistical analysis plan etc.). The evidence we generate is published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at scientific conferences, and communicated globally in support of access to Obesity treatments. Your work will drive strategic decisions for obesity projects and products at various stages of the product lifecycle, from early pipeline, launch, to lifecycle management. You will also be part of organising advisory boards, conduct internal HEOR trainings and presentations, and plan payer educational events at scientific conferences. Qualifications
In this role you will have a high degree of commercial impact, with an expectation of developing HEOR evidence that will set strategic directions and drive business decisions. To accomplish this, we are looking for someone with a master’s degree in a relevant scientific field and m in. 5 years of pharma or consultancy experience within the field of health economics or outcomes research across the product lifecycle from pipeline to launch and lifecycle management as well as: Proven success with health economic modelling and analysis of health outcomes data. Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. Familiarity with reimbursement/HTA processes across key markets. Ability to develop and lead strong relationships with all key stakeholders across geographies and functions. Recognised payer interaction and market access experience across key geographies. Finally, you set high and new standards and get things done collaboratively with pace. You have strong interpersonal skills, which ensure new and innovative solutions. You demonstrate agility and adapt quickly to changes. You manage to set direction and find solutions in a complex and changing environment without compromising on the delivery of project milestones. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement and s ome travel to key affiliates and conferences will be expected. Working at Novo Nordisk Novo Nordisk is its people.
