The position As Project Manager for Analytical Chemistry, you will coordinate cross-organization projects and be responsible for initiating, executing, and finalizing them within our project execution framework. Your main focus will include: Leading project teams of highly skilled chemists and specialists to implement new analytical methods and instruments for raw materials Managing a wide range of stakeholders both within Novo Nordisk and externally, as well as serving as the link between the workgroups, steering groups, project owners, project governance and key stakeholders Reporting and communicating project progress at various organizational levels Scoping and defining new initiatives with support from the chemists in the department Supporting the team in planning and structuring smaller projects Overall, you will work closely with Chemists, Specialists and other project managers to upgrade the QC laboratory and contribute to continuous improvement of everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you have: A Master´s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field within the natural science A background within a GMP environment working in a QC laboratory or support department for example, coupled with a broad understanding of analytical chemistry A previous experience or a keen interest in project management Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English As a person, you are proactive and independent, with a strong problem-solving mindset and excellent analytical skills. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can analyse data and translate it into simple messages. You are a team player with a high level of interpersonal sensitivity, enthusiasm, and structure, and are comfortable taking the initiative and leading. You thrive in multicultural, ever-changing environments and have excellent collaboration skills. In this role, you will need to set direction and drive performance while ensuring quality and speed, being pragmatic, and balancing conflicting inputs by respecting and including others' opinions and viewpoints. About the department You will join our analytical team in Material Manufacturing Development – Analytical Chemistry in Product Supply Sourcing Operations. We consist of 50 employees, located in Hillerød. We are responsible for development and implementation of complex materials (raw materials, excipients, Primary Packaging materials etc.) at all Novo Nordisk sites. We cooperate with a variety of functions, including development, Warehouses, Quality Control and Strategy and business development as well as Novo Nordisk sites all over the world.
