Novo Nordisk at site Gentofte is upgrading and modernising our different utility systems to fill Novo Nordisk's efforts to be fossil-free and CO2 neutral. As Building & Facility Engineer, you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks supporting our product releases according to standards and requirements set by the authorities. This includes designing, modifying, and commissioning of facilities, buildings, and related systems such as ABA, ADK, sprinkler systems, indoor climate, water distribution and sanitation systems. This position focuses on developing and implementing ideas to optimise and expand the capacity of our process facilities. You will be able to utilise new technologies and innovative approaches in collaboration with our project managers and technology vendors.
Other areas of responsibility may include:
  • Projecting, transformation, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Co-responsibility for ensuring that design documents, instructions and procedures are up to date and ready to meet current GMP requirements.
  • Maintenance strategy, optimization within energy utilisation and other resources.
  • Cross-organisational project participation among our sites, mainly in the capital region.
  • Point of contact within area of responsibility between project programme and the operating department, BRD Finished Products Gentofte (BRD FP GEVA) Technical Service.

    Qualifications
    Your experiences include:
  • An academic degree in building engineering, VVS engineer or other relevant technical education and interest in technical solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience working with building/facilities management, experience covering the different aspects of qualification and validation will be an advantage.
  • Systems such as ABA, ADK, sprinkler systems, indoor climate, water distribution and sanitation systems.
  • Interest in implementing new technologies to optimise processes and improve outcomes. Project work/ management is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both the Danish and English to facilitate and contribute to technical discussions.
  • . You enjoy sharing knowledge, support engagement amongst collaboration with stakeholders and possess a quality mindset, to also support the timely documentation for safety and quality control. You see yourself as having strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment and solution-focused attitude to achieve results. About the department
    BRD FP GEVA Technical Service is a technical department with approximately 80 employees with many different skills and education, delivering technical services and utilities to the other production departments at site Gentofte in general. Deliveries include Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, compressed air, various gases, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC. Besides the production and supply of utilities, the department delivers several other services all over Novo Nordisk, e.g., Calibration and Metrology tasks. The department is responsible for an expansive project portfolio and has a dedicated team to support and deliver on this. It is within this Team Support that we are expanding.
