We are looking for a manager to lead the strong team that is responsible for production planning, both internally and with our external CMO network in close collaboration with our customers i.e. our production sites across the globe. The position
As the Manager for the team, you oversee daily management of the Production & Purchase Planning Team in DMS Supply Chain. Your team ensures timely delivery of device components for final assembly to our receiving production sites. The position requires stakeholder management and close collaboration with peers across DMS supply chain, production areas, as well as central supply chain, while constantly seeking optimization and focusing on driving continuous improvements in our planning processes.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Setting direction for DMS supply chain strategy in collaboration with the Supply Chain management team
• Managing the production & purchase planning team while providing leadership and coaching to ensure your team’s abilities align with future needs
• Establishing a robust global supply and demand setup for device components
• Developing and implementing optimal Inventory Policy for all our components based on a systematic risk-based approach
• Developing and applying necessary mitigations to address potential disruptions in a timely manner
• Driving and supporting updates to our planning systems, including change management and successful implementation, while maintaining a high-level quality mindset

Qualifications
To succeed in the position, we believe you:
• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of proven supply chain experience in a similar role and setting
• Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bring extensive experience in risk analysis and a robust understanding of supply chain planning systems and change management
• Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English

It would be considered an advantage if you have experience within a GMP-regulated industry and are familiar with Novo Nordisk insights.
As a person, you possess a well-balanced personality, with strong leadership skills and the ability to set a clear direction for your team; you possess a strategic mindset, balancing quality, delivery, and cost, while setting ambitious goals for the team and challenging the status quo. About the department
DMS Supply Chain is responsible for the global supply of components and sub-assemblies to global assembly sites, ensuring a stabile flow of components internally and from DMS’ network of worldwide suppliers to our customers. We continuously improve the supply chains with focus on performance, robustness, and cost reduction. As a member of the management team, you will work alongside four other leaders and the department manager, creating a strong and collaborative team that operates with a high degree of professionalism.
