We are looking for an ambitious Product Owner to lead one of the scrum teams building StarConnect - our key energy optimization system for our fleet. The system takes IoT data from our fleet and turns it into actionable insights to optimize the energy efficiency and carbon footprint of our vessels.
The objective of the Fleet Performance Management Product in StarConnect is to enable technical experts in the office to optimize the fleet-wide energy efficiency through efficient standard processes and effective collaboration with vessel crews

As a Product Owner, you will gain broad business knowledge of the company’s activities globally, driving the DevOps of fleet performance management of the transport and logistics business.

You will be responsible for transforming the value propositions into products that deliver benefits to the users and Maersk.
You will lead the cross-functional feature team to build amazing user experiences and solve business problems.
You will contribute to the overall StarConnect strategy and value propositions. You will align with the other StarConnect product teams to ensure “one truth” and alignment across the vessel and office products.
On a daily basis, you will define business problems to be solved and prioritize them by value. You will ensure that the team understands the product value propositions and that technical solutions deliver them.
You will ensure that new features reach users on a timely manner and the right quality. You will drive the continuous improvements in product’s process efficiency, user satisfaction and efficiency of user journeys. You will oversee the communication and training activities.
We expect you to maintain the product roadmap and align it with the StarConnect strategy & vision. You will be accountable for the product success and value delivery.
We are looking for energy efficiency expert with a:
• Passion for energy efficiency and a background in naval architecture, marine engineering, or sailing experience with technical knowledge developed through vessel operations or performance management activities
• Keen interest in software development and experience in leading cross-functional teams, preferably as a Product Owner for vessel performance management systems or IoT and data driven products
• Understanding of and, preferably, experience in liner operations, and network design
• Familiarity with the disciplines of Agile product development and a keen interest in the area of data science
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect, build relationships and effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strategic mindset that can drive solutions to fruition, ensure value creation and build concepts & reality for the future
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills and ability to deliver technical messages in compelling ways to non-technical stakeholders.
