The Global Product Development Manager (GPDM) is the overall product development owner of all products and services within GTCC (Global Trade and Customs consulting(. The GPDM is responsible for new product projects, further development of products, maintenance of the portfolio and global application of GTCC products. GPDM handles product adoption into the Maersk product catalogue and systems (like Sales Force, etc.). The GPDM is responsible for external and internal partnership networks. GPDM is also deputy of the Global Head of Trade and Customs Consulting when needed. In summary the GPDM is developing and assisting with positioning and winning business.

Key responsibilities
- Act in a lead role responsible for the Global Trade and Customs (GTCC) Product portfolio
- Responsible for the customer focus of the product portfolio
- Act as lead for all new products and services within the area
- Responsible for inhouse product infrastructure Name Standards, Product Adoption, Product Catalogue
- Responsible for external and internal partnership and promotion networks
- Being an ambassador for the product, externally and internally
- Acting as replacement for the Head of Trade and Customs Consulting when needed
- ‘Lead to agreement’
We are looking for
- BSc/BA in a relevant field; MSc/MA in a specialized business field will be an advantage
- In depth knowledge of international trade, customs and borders
- Communications skills, social skills – a peoples’ person, network builder
- Customer orientation
- Development and innovation focus
- Identify opportunities and develop new products when needed
- Specific experience from advisory roles and consulting is a plus.
