As our new Senior Project Manager, you will be welcomed into Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products (IFP). In this role, you will have the chance to actively lead 1-3 projects, overseeing the entire life cycle management of these products within the realms of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) with emphasis on production aspects. Your responsibilities will span from the initial stages of development and commercialization to the eventual discontinuation of a product in the market
Important tasks will include:Initiating and leading both ad-hoc and enduring project groups, taking accountability for achieving project milestones within cross-functional projects across the portfolio in alignment with Product Supply strategies. Striving for continuous improvement and taking responsibility for productivity improvement of our project management processes, project setup, and governance. Establish, evaluate, and recommend strategic options in a truly cross-organizational setting.
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to leverage not only your project management skills but also your scientific expertise when contributing to projects and engaging with key stakeholders. Stakeholder management has a central role in this position, providing you with the chance to expand your global network across Product Supply, Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs (RA), and the commercial organization.
Depending on the project, there will be some travel expected for the position, estimated at 1-4 weeks per year.Qualifications
We imagine that a successful candidate has:A master’s degree in relevant field of study, e.g. Biotechnology, Chemical engineering, Pharmaceutics, Microbiology, Biology Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry e.g., with drug development, life cycle management, manufacturing, supply chain processes and/or regulatory project management Strong project management experience, with experience in managing complex projects Excellent communication skills with experience building strong relations with stakeholders cross-functionally and globally You have demonstrated your ability to work at a strategic level, leading teams, planning, and driving the execution of targets. You are equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and you can support decision-making related to process improvements, organizational changes, and innovative ideas.About the team
