As the Scale2Grow Project Director in the Clinical Drug Development Executive Office (CDDEO), you will be applying your expertise and knowledge to progress one of our strategic gamechangers. This initiative will bring new solutions addressing the need for managing the unprecedented scaling of our development activities. You will work across the global organization with many internal stakeholders in the drug development value chain, in particular within digitalization and clinical operations. You will drive the execution of Scale2Grow together with project owners, track owners and the allocated project group members.
The project is complex by nature and require you to navigate opinionated senior stakeholders, manage indirect reports within communication and change management. You are able to keep an eye for the bigger picture ensuring the projects’ success despite of ambiguity and resistance.
The Development gamechangers are highly visible transformation programmes being part of the One Development strategy. Your key responsibilities will include: Be responsible for planning and execution of initiatives to identify, evaluate, drive, and communicate on project activities. Independent steer negotiations with senior management across the global organisation to ensure project success as well as handling of conflicting agendas among stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. Deliver on communication and change management to ensure organisational readiness and buy-in to solutions. Contribute and execute on additional initiatives related to the CDD strategy in close collaboration with relevant colleagues from the CDD Executive Office. Collaborate and inspire the Project Director peers across the organization and support the CDDEO team in being ambitious and offer sparring to junior colleagues. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: Master’s degree within pharmaceutical sciences or economy and additional executive education in business, project management or change management 10+ years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within different parts of the pharmaceutical industry value chain and within line of business as well as staffs functions Strong project management experience and extensive experience with interaction with stakeholders globally as well as identifying and managing vendors. Proven experience in driving and coaching organizational change programs at management levels. Experience with digitalisation and agile working methodologies and understanding and knowledge about R&D processes would be an asset. As a person, you are a team player with strong negotiation and analytical skills and a global mindset. You possess strong interpersonal and project management skills which allow you to manage cross-functional project groups across borders and cultures at a strategic level. You are structured and work independently to set direction and deliver results. About the department
You will be working in the Clinical Drug Development Executive Office (CDDEO) anchored in the Development organisation located in Søborg. We are responsible for driving activities that support the management of the CDD area with over 1,100 employees who are planning, executing, and concluding our global clinical trial activities and leading our product development portfolio. In the executive office, we support the Senior Vice President in leading the organisation. We drive strategy development and execution, manage business processes, lead sustainability initiatives and communication activities and drive competency development of project leaders. We work in close collaboration with senior leaders and with executive teams across the company globally.
