Are you an experienced and structured Laboratory technician, and do you have experience from working with the development of chromatographic processes? Are you ready to go a step further and evolve the methods we use in the lab? Then you could be our new Laboratory technician in Downstream Development department. The position In your new job, together with experienced colleagues, you will focus on how we can improve our methods for developing chromatographic purification steps by combining laboratory experiments with computer models. Which experiments should we run, and how can we use the results in the best way to develop an efficient process within the time frame? The primary tasks include: Programming and execution of ÄKTA runs HPLC and related analyses Planning, data management, documentation Besides chromatography we use filtration, precipitation, freeze-drying, spray drying, and chemical- and enzymatic reactions. Various softwares are used, for example Excel for data processing and ELN for documentation. Qualifications To qualify you for the position, we imagine that you have: Educational background as a laboratory technician or biomedical laboratory scientist Several years of experience with chromatographic purification Can run ÄKTA systems, as well as HPLC with data processing in Empower Skilled at planning and documenting your work Conversant in English and preferably know Danish (PD3 level or equivalent) As a person, we imagine that you work in a structured and independent manner, with a focus on getting reliable result. We appreciate a curious and observant approach with a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. You are a team player who actively participates in solving team tasks. About the Department As part of Novo Nordisk CMC API Development in Bagsværd, the Downstream Development department is focusing on the development of purification processes for both early and late phase projects for semi-recombinant and fully synthetic APIs.
