Bagsværd

Are you passionate about Supply Chain and working with high-complex projects in a global environment? Then this might be your chance. We have an exciting pipeline of new products entering our organisation and we need you on our journey! Join us as a Supply Chain Project Manager and help us implement new products and develop our Supply Chain.

The job

We have a very exciting pipeline of new products entering our organisation and as a Supply Chain Project Manager in GCM Logistics you will be responsible for implementing new products from our world-wide CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organisation – outsourced production partners), into the Novo Nordisk supply chain.

  • You will work closely with our CMOs, internal sourcing, production and shipping department, receiving warehouse and QA to integrate Novo Nordisk and CMO standards and deliver a reliable supply chain for new products.

  • It will be your responsibility to work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to agree upon the right sourcing, transportation and warehousing strategy, ensure sufficient warehouse capacity, set safety stock levels, determine supply chain KPIs, establish communication and product flow through the supply chain and ensure clear roles and responsibilities are in place.

  • It will be your responsibility to ensure supply chain processes are robust and ready to be transferred to operations. In collaboration with our IT experts, you will also facilitate that we have an IT platform to support the flow.

The new CMOs will become an integrated part of our business by delivering critical products to Novo Nordisk. Therefore, it is substantial that we build a robust supply chain in close collaboration with our CMOs by linking Novo Nordisk and CMO processes in the most effective and productive way and by building trust and business understanding in the relations.

We are a new organisation, and you will become a part of the journey where we are continuously working with robustness, optimising cost and reducing complexity in our supply chain.

Qualifications

  • You have a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in coordinating/driving supply chain projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • A strong understanding of the structure within Supply Chain, ideally also with Global Contract Manufacturing
  • Strong written and spoken English is required.

You are good at building relationships across cultures and can get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. Apart from having good communication and coordination skills you are proactive in your daily work. You have a quality mind-set and strong analytical and conceptual skills.

Personally, you are highly engaged, have a positive mind-set and an open mind. You work independently, like taking responsibility and enjoy a dynamic and ambitious environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while managing deadlines. You will be part of an international team where we have an informal and direct tone, where we value and respect each other’s differences and encourage each other’s professional development.

About the department

You will be a part of our Logistics department in the dynamic and agile Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) area. GCM is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced manufacturing and source APIs and semi-finished products into Novo Nordisk production and deliver finished products to customers world-wide.

As our new Supply Chain Project Manager you will join 18 highly motivated and talented colleagues in GCM Logistics. We are responsible for purchasing and planning of products from our CMOs world-wide.

At Novo Nordisk, we create value by putting patients first. Every ten seconds two people are diagnosed with diabetes, and more than 371 million people worldwide need us. Working here is not just a way to make a living, but a way to make a difference.
