Are you passionate about employee health and safety, and would you like to contribute to Novo Nordisk being a safe and healthy place to work, then you might be the new colleague we are looking for in Novo Nordisk Health and Safety (NN HS).
The position
The position in NN HS is limited to one year, but Novo Nordisk is growing fast these years and the intention is to prepare and qualify you for your next carrier step as HS Partner or HS Supporter in one of our development or production units. You will be introduced to HS processes such as incident registration, project and workplace risk assessments, safety inspections, audits etc. That way you will get an understanding of the backbone in our HS management system that is certified according to ISO45001.
You will learn by doing. During the one-year assignment you will rotate from process to process. You will e.g., join our global support helpline, our accident reporting team and our chemical support team, and you will assist our HS Partner and process specialists in maintaining and developing the HS processes, IT systems etc.
Qualifications
As HS supporter, you have a special interest and basic knowledge within health and safety preferably based on your educational background and/or practical industry experience. You have knowledge about legislative requirements and the ISO 45001 standard. You have a fundamental desire and passion to make a difference within health and safety.
The key to success is your ability to learn and to collaborate with colleagues in NN HS and stakeholders in Line of Business. You thrive with a mix of both strategic and hands-on tasks. Limited travelling is expected. English is our corporate language, and hence it is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently.

The job is located in Novo Nordisk Health & Safety, a unit in the global People & Organisation division, located in Bagsværd, Denmark. The department is Novo Nordisk's Centre of Excellence in the field of health and safety with around 30 dedicated colleagues. Our role is to safeguard employee safety, health and well-being as an integrated part of how Novo Nordisk do business, by providing with targeted support and easy-to-use tools and guidance within topics such as mental well-being, safety and ergonomics.
