The position

As Supply Chain Coordinator for our temperature monitoring devices (TMD), you will have the possibility to play a key role in securing a smooth supply of temperature monitoring devices and accessories across Novo Nordisk production sites and contract manufacturers. Which means that you must ensure a strong collaboration end to end between the supplier and our sites and warehouses.

You will be responsible for training new users and colleagues in our procedures and systems as well as playing a key role supporting our colleagues in Bangalore (GBS) with transport deviations and support deviation trend reporting. Based on these findings, you will lead corrective and preventive actions together with procedural updates. And lastly, you will be a key point of contact and project member for projects and improvement initiatives related to TMD and Deviation handling.

Qualifications

  • You have a relevant educational background within shipping, supply chain or quality assurance have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within these area(s)
  • Experience in processes such as transport deviation handling in GxP environments and /or metrology is an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and skilled in MS office

About the department

Logistics & Distribution (L&D) is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the financial impact. Furthermore, we have the responsibility for storage of GxP products, covering both in- and outbound distribution.

We are a department of about 40 employees, divided in Shipping Operations, Warehouse Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Validation & Transport Control (V&TC). You will be part of the V&TC team, which consists of 10 colleagues based in Denmark and 8 colleagues in our service centre, located in Bangalore, India.

While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors. The department is characterised by having a very dynamic environment with increasing requirements and complexity.

L&D is part of Supply Chain, a central Supply Chain & Finance organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance.
