The position As a (Lead) Project Manager in the Development Executive Office, you will report to the Director of the Executive Office and be a part of the executive set-up around the EVP of Development and the Development Leadership team. You will have the opportunity to drive progress on various tasks in collaborate with a broad set of partners from Development including a network of Development Executive Assistants, Strategy team, Communications, P&O, Finance as well as stakeholders from the broader Novo Nordisk value chain. Your responsibilities are amongst other: Providing leadership support to the Development EVP and the Development leadership team including developing memos and presentations for leadership meetings and interactions with Executive Management and the Board of Directors
Driving cross-functional initiatives and business processes in collaboration with partners across Development including identification and execution of optimization and improvement efforts
Acting as project manager for initiatives and projects within Development and across the broader value chain
As the role entails tasks ranging from preparing materials to process management to project management, it is important to thrive with various tasks at hand and be able to think through complexities and identify potential interdependencies in both planning as well as execution of the various tasks. Since this position is an addition to the team, you will have the opportunity to impact and develop the role, responsibilities, and tasks together with the Director. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: M.Sc. in a relevant field combined with relevant business experience and an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
Strong project management skills based on previous experience with driving cross-organisational initiatives
Demonstrated experience working with senior level leadership
The ability to engage with solid communication skills
Have an analytical as well as a strategic mind-set

About the department Development is responsible for developing and maturing innovative treatment solutions in the form of drugs, devices and digital companions to address unmet medical needs and improve lives of people with diabetes, obesity and other serious chronic diseases.
