The position
As Programme Director will be supporting the scaling of the organisation especially around fast-growing Growth Hormone therapeutic area.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Drive the Devices & Delivery solutions program portfolio end to end both tactically and strategically
• Engage with key stakeholders within CMC Development, Global Drug Development, Global Research Technologies, Global Development, Product Supply, Regulatory, Commercial & Marketing, Digital Health & Digital Health IT as well as external suppliers
• Ensure goals are achieved within set milestones to be reported to R&DMgmt, RPComm, PDComm, PDCouncil and Digital Health Steering Committee
• Secure patent strategies, FoO and IPR are in place for the development Programs
• Interact and obtain approval by appropriate governance body & assure execution of the approved strategy by translating into individual Program goals
You are responsible for the preparation and execution of the program portfolio and responsible for creating synergy and knowledge sharing across it. You are expected to lead the programme team by creating clarity on purpose and goals, driving performance through empowerment and engagement, and challenging the status quo. Managing program budgets and costs will be part of that responsibility.
Your working day will be dynamic with multiple tasks and many interactions to drive activities forward. Your success will be driven by your contributions to the execution of the project, the quality of your deliverables and your way of communicating and engaging with colleagues and stakeholders. Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• Extensive experience in successful Project/Program/line management from leading industries (Pharma, MedTech, aerospace, automotive, IT, FMCG) in a global development context
• Knowledge understanding the various disciplines of devices development and their complex interaction combined with a passion and interest for innovative digital solutions
• Technical experience within the development value chain, including managerial program coordination
• Knowledge of quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry as well as regulatory requirements world-wide
You are analytical, structured, demonstrate attention to detail, and have a flair for planning and coordinating. You are capable of handling complexity in processes and having many various activities going on in parallel and a strong team player recognised for your interpersonal skills and as a person you thrive in a busy environment.
You are proactive, take ownership over your assignments and feel comfortable in working independently, bring a "can do" spirit, a healthy common sense, and a good sense of humour to your work - even when the pressure is on and can implement sustainable product development foundations and to constantly make them evolve to become better every day.

Devices & Delivery Solutions is an area within Novo Nordisk’s global R&D organisation. We develop medical devices for self-treatment, supporting all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. Devices & Delivery Solutions is in Hilleroed in the greater Copenhagen area with state-of-the-art R&D facilities and has a long and outstanding track record of developing the best, most innovative and widely used insulin devices in the world.
As Programme Director, you will join one of our Programme Management team in Devices & Delivery Solutions responsible for delivering Novo Nordisk next generation devices & Delivery Solutions. You will be part of an organisation of highly skilled people – many the best in the medical device industry.
