The position
As Senior Patient Partnership Manager , you will play a central role in the development and long-term ambition of incorporating the Patient Voice throughout the Novo Nordisk development value chain.
We are looking for a self-starter who is familiar with the overall aspects of clinical drug development and stakeholder management. A person who can quickly establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate and partner for optimal outcomes within this highly effective team.
In this role, you will be based in Copenhagen and report to the Head of Patient Partnerships. The job requires an ability to work independently on complex tasks and lead projects as well as use in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain to support the development of impactful area deliverables.
The key responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:
Your success will come from securing transparency of activities, keeping deadlines, awareness of organisational resource needs, motivating others to collaborate with you and between external PAGs (Patient Associations Groups) and internal Development organisation. The successful incorporation of Patient Voice is dependent on your ability to connect with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
This job requires ability to work independently on complex tasks and lead projects as well as use in-depth knowledge of clinical drug development to support the development of impactful area deliverables.

We are a cross-functional and cross-therapeutic unit: meaning that we work across the value chain and with many internal stakeholders.

The position

The key responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:
- Support key therapeutic areas as a Patient Voice specialist: advise relevant internal stakeholders which strategic Patient Voice activities should be implemented and support execution of these activities
- Lead Patient Voice strategies for key therapeutic areas within the company, including participation in relevant internal forums and workstreams, ensure regular reporting to senior management
- Guide Patient Voice cross-functional working groups which coordinate different Patient Voices activities in individual therapy areas and ensure regular reporting to senior management
- Relationship anchor for essential patient leaders, individual patients, and patient organizations in assigned therapeutic area
- Support our DEEP (Disease Experience Expert People) framework and Patient Expert Directory

Qualifications
This job requires ability to work independently on complex tasks and lead projects as well as use in-depth knowledge of clinical drug development to support the development of impactful area deliverables.
To be successful in this position, you need:
- Master’s degree in Life Science, Public Health, Science or similar
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, especially in drug development area (both pharmaceutical and clinical); 3 years of track record in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical development value chain, with an emphasis on clinical trials is considered a strong advantage
- Proven track record of project management is a plus
- Experience and understanding of Patient Voice activities (patient advisory boards, patient journeys, in-trial qualitative interviews) is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Fluency in written and spoken English
