The position
You will drive the real-world evidence (RWE) strategy targeted payers within Rare Disease and at the same time ensuring that access opportunities are explored and evaluated for our future digital/connected solutions within Rare Disease.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Follow payer trends in terms of RWE acceptance within Rare Disease as well as new early access programs/pathways and reimbursement opportunities for new innovative digital/connected solutions
• Be responsible for early assessment and evaluation of payer/access potential of digital solution within rare disease
• Promote cross-functional understanding of payer evidence and value demonstration, and support affiliate uptake/ utilization of best practices in RWE generation and presentation
• Translate technical information for non-technical audiences to enhance knowledge dissemination and uptake
• Translate strategic market access ambitions within RWE and digital solutions into ambitious and concrete projects
Furthermore, you will work closely with a high variety of stakeholders both affiliates and cross-functional partners, internal and external, to ensure the market RWE needs are met and ensure excellence when going to market with new innovative digital/connected solutions. This will give you the opportunity to get an in-depth knowledge of the Rare Disease organization. You will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Rare Disease Access.
As the position is newly established you will have the opportunity to impact the ways of working and partly frame the scope of the position.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• A master’s degree, potentially PhD, in a relevant field, e.g., market access, data analytics, healthcare innovation, health economics, public health
• Extensive experience from the life science industry, working within market access, digital health and/or real-world evidence generation
• Experience with digital health & reimbursement pathways for digital solutions e.g., DiGA would be an advantage
• Experience working collaboratively on project scoping and execution with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across geographies and with strong project management skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Rare Disease Access is a department within Rare Disease, driving change for patients in rare blood and rare endocrine disorders. Market Access is increasingly important for ensuring patients have access to best-in-class products and innovative solutions, as well as the commercial success of pharmaceutical products.
The Rare Disease Access Department is a highly diverse team, responsible for optimizing market access for the continued success of the Rare Disease franchise portfolios. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, we establish strategies and key support tactics around pricing, reimbursement, health economics & outcomes research, value communication, and subsequently supports the implementation nationally, regionally, and locally. The team covers both inline and pipeline products for aligned therapeutic or franchise areas.
