One of our colleagues have gotten new opportunities within our organisation, and therefore we are looking for someone to join the team. In the position as our new IT Architect, you will manage the development of our virtual collaboration IT solutions within the area Digital Workplace. As part of the team, you will ensure that our offerings provide value for the users, that problems are being troubleshot and solved, and that new solutions and features are developed for an even better user experience and ensuring continuous stable, and secure solutions.
The responsibility within the position, shared with the team, is covering solutions such as Cisco Webex Video, MS Teams, IP-telephony infrastructure, and livestream solutions. We work in an agile set-up, so expect that you may be working with tasks across the team, according to time and competence related to the activity. We also work in global virtual teams, with colleagues based in DK, as well as around the globe.
Part of your responsibilities will be to advise our business partners on how to apply our technologies for the best user experience. You must secure that virtual collaboration and live events will work from a home office, meeting room, auditorium, or even larger settings – you understand the solution from IT hardware in the room, IT infrastructure, and software application.
You are part of a team consisting of several IT-architects, and we expect you to be part of building and driving future roadmaps for our technologies and processes. Therefore, you need to stay ahead of industry trends, assess new products and technologies, and evaluate the feasibility of concepts and services from vendors. Part of the job is also overseeing the service deliveries from vendors on the contractual services being provided.
What we are looking for
You preferably have a bachelor's or master’s degree in science, engineering, IT, technology, or the equivalent and more than 5 years+ of experience with infrastructure and technologies, preferably from a larger corporation or organisation.
You can demonstrate domain knowledge within collaboration solutions, and similar Cloud and network solutions and understand hardware setup for larger live streaming events. A good knowledge of network infrastructure and IT security compliance is an advantage for this position.
You might have experience in AV and IT technologies and infrastructure such as Cisco Webex Videoconference, Creston, IP network equipment (ethernet and AVB), and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or worked with UC-solutions and IP-telephony first and expanding to supporting and operating live collaboration solutions such as MS Teams.
As a person, you are a persistent problem solver, good at identifying risks and proactively acting on them. You are ambitious and strive for an excellent user experience. Furthermore, you are good at building relations, including communicating with and managing stakeholders on different organisational as well as technical competency levels.
