Are you an experienced Project Coordinator eager to support our Project Vice Presidents with running treatment solution development projects within Diabetes? The position As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, optimising, and tracking a range of project activities. You will join the project management team and work closely with the Project Vice President and the cross functional Global Project Team. Your main tasks will include:
  • Support the project management in driving the project activities towards agreed goals.
  • Tracking and coordinating the budgeting process with input from functional areas, including presentations to management and ongoing follow-up on project costs.
  • Arrange project team meetings, information meetings and team events – including preparation of meeting minutes and follow-up on actions.
  • Assist in preparing material for senior management meetings, monthly project reports and communication material such as slides, pre-reading and newsletters
  • Furthermore, you will participate in maintaining project communication platforms and other ad hoc tasks. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
  • Extensive experience within project coordination in an administrative role.
  • Interest in and experience with working with complex budgets.
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage.
  • Skilled user of various IT systems including Microsoft 365 and SAP.
  • Fluent in oral and written English is an advantage.
  • As a person you are team oriented and used to work in a multi-cultural environment. You are great at managing deadlines and work with multiple and frequently changing priorities using good collaboration skills and a sense of humour. You are good at problem-solving, working independently and proactively in a busy environment, and have a broad overview as well as a sense for details. About the department The Diabetes project management area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development under our Development organisation and located in Søborg. We are overall responsible for an exciting pipeline of development programmes targeting people with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes – including clinical testing in humans from phase 1 through phase 3 and phase 4. We collaborate closely across the full value chain and together we all contribute with bringing new medicine to people living with diabetes. In the team we are currently 6 Project Coordinators, 2 Project Directors and 5 Project Vice Presidents.
