The position As Department Assistant your key area of responsibility will be to support the managers primarily within Rare Blood Disorders in Søborg. You will support the areas within Medical & Science Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies with a wide range of tasks including planning, preparing and following up on administrative tasks and processes across the department. Your main tasks will be:
  • Planning and scheduling meetings as well as following up on actions
  • Administrative support to meetings incl meeting organisation, agenda, speakers and preparation of the minutes within Rare Blood Disorders
  • Onboard internal and external colleagues
  • Coordinate calendars and activities including travels and expense reports
  • General administrative support to the colleagues in the area
  • Furthermore, you will collaborate with many different internal and external stakeholders. You will have frequent interactions with other assistants throughout the organisation and you will be an active member of the RD&AT administrative group in a warm and welcoming environment. Qualifications We are looking for you, who are service-minded, passionate, and eager to take ownership of diverse tasks ranging from administrative to independent coordination and follow-up. To succeed in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications:
  • Administrative background from a similar role within business administration.
  • Great IT skills. You quickly pick up new skills and have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and the interconnected functionalities.
  • Great communication skills and experience working in an international environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Furthermore, you are flexible and thrive in a fast-changing environment, with frequently changing priorities and handle this with your sense of urgency, structure, and overview. About the department The Medical & Science, Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies (RD&AT) is a dedicated international team of approx. 40 colleagues. We are responsible for clinical development in rare blood and endocrine disorders. We are on a transformative and exciting journey to expand into multiple new indications using the most advanced technology platforms. We are developing clinical strategies to support progress of the Novo Nordisk Rare Disease portfolio. The work comprises bridging early ideas from research to clinical development and work with regulatory approvals and support of marketed products in life cycle management. We are responsible for the planning and execution of global clinical trials and for medical and scientific support to health authority interactions. We are instrumental in providing documentation and interpretation of clinical data leading to New Drug Applications (NDAs) and variation applications, periodic safety updated on marketed drugs and drugs in clinical development, market access and external scientific communication. The department is based on a project-centric organisation, and internally we work in cross functional teams.
