The team you will be part of is the literal center piece of all container flow at Maersk, responsible for the entire container fleet on a global scale. Within our team we ensure our containers are at the right place & time to start carrying our customers cargo. That’s right, the world will be your playground. WE TRUST YOU WITH THESE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Product Owner Inland Flow you will enable a seamless process between our customers, haulers, and Maersk to avoid idle mileage, reduce congestions and improve container availability. This via existing as well as to-be solutions.
Your involvement will be very broad, from platform solutioning to process ideation and from change management to implementation. Core elements will be equipment release and return, import-export triangulation and availability steering.
Even if you don’t fulfil all the elements that we are looking for, you probably have a strong appetite for the role and a fundamental skill set, curiosity, and a can-do attitude to be successful. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU
Because you can meet most of the following elements, or have outstanding skills in some of them paired with a strong learning agility, we will be having a conversation soon:
- Product Management experience on stakeholder management, standardization, marketing & scaling throughout the product lifecycle
- Contract management with 3rd party platform providers
- Drive the internal digital, process and financial agenda on Inland Flow
- Full understanding of the haulage part of container shipping from working in or with the industry
- Excellent communication skills to communicate concepts, opportunities and complexities in a compelling and clear manner
- Able to work with big datasets, derive insights from it and translate them for targeted audiences
Since we are an international team, fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
