Service Digital Transformation Global Process Management
In Vestas Service, we want to be the best at servicing the renewables industry and the greatest place for working together as a global team. We are embarking a transformation journey and we want the very best people on our team.
Global Process Management is a team within Digital Transformation consisting of business process specialists responsible for developing and governing the landscape of service processes, systems and master data across our global service business. We aim to increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Best practices are leveraged from across the global service business, the wider Vestas organisation and other industries. We lead process innovation across the global service improvement initiatives and major programmes.
The commercial business areas of Maintenance, Parts & Repair and Fleet Optimisation have aggressive growth plans which require specialist knowledge and experience to operationalise into efficient processes which delight our Customers and make the everyday work-life easier for our sales reps.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for shaping activities in all areas of the Service business to reflect commercial priorities. Through identification, scoping and implementation of improvement initiatives and projects, you will drive the embedment of a lifetime, fleet-wide commercial mindset across the organisation. For the next years you spend most of your time working in one of our ambitious programmes with purpose to transform our business model and improve our global operating model. In these programmes you will be leading the commercial area for transactional sales.
Example of operational responsibilities include:

  • Manage global processes within commercial service sales, high transactional area
  • Define and drive a roadmap of process improvements, in collaboration with interfacing business process specialists and business stakeholders
  • Participate as business process specialist in global projects ranging from master data projects, product information systems, customer engagement and contract mgt. systems and more
  • Define business requirements into Global IT development projects and programs, to ensure system workflows support commercial targets
  • Evaluate IT solution designs against business requirements
  • Drive Vestas Service global forum for transactional sales

Drawing on your previous experience, and continuous monitoring of service sales best practices, you will be expected to drive change and influence the direction of the transactional Service Sales business and be heavily involved in shaping a number of strategic initiatives within the high- area such as digitalisation and transformation of the transactional business, parts as well as (T&M) services, Digital self-services (VestasOnline) and digital customer support initiatives.

Qualifications
Ideally, you have worked in a similar role as process partner, product owner or as a management consultant, e.g. with focus on commercial excellence. We expect you have:

  • Experience leading sales process change implementations globally
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
  • Managed large projects with multiple global stakeholder groups
  • Experience with digitalisation of sales channels

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Worked with Service Sales in an engineering industry
  • Customer or Contract Management experience
  • Experience widely with processes supporting the e-commerce area
  • Knowledge of common CRM processes such as opportunity management, account and contact management, CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) as well as knowledge of customer interaction channel management such as ticketing processes etc..

You value collaboration, can apply cultural awareness, and you know how to engage with other roles, cultures and seniority levels. Furthermore, it is needed that you:

  • Know how to capture business requirements and the abilities to design how business areas should work and bridge the business and IT – seeing strategically and implementing operationally
  • Can communicate in a confident and concise manner with ability to articulate concepts easily
  • Are a good meeting facilitator in engaging stakeholders, e.g. through workshops
  • Are willing to work on local time to assist global colleagues where needed
  • Will take on accountability and work proactively to identify what needs to be done and delivering reliably to deadlines
  • Work calmly under pressure, with a solution-driven mindset

You will be working with both large strategic change projects, whilst also driving smaller scope operational improvements, through the Business Process Management communities.

Additional information
Your primary work location is Copenhagen S (or alternatively Aarhus N), Denmark, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the full global service sales team and management and Vestas' digital transformation entity. Travel between the office in Copenhagen and Aarhus can be expected. Global travel is approximately 20 days per year.
