Do you have what it takes to break new ground and develop injectable pharmaceutical products during clinical development? About the department

Injectable Formulation Development is part of CMC Development, and we are organised in R&D. We are responsible for developing formulations and production processes for injectables of new biopharmaceutical products. The department is organised in 4 teams and has approximately 65 employees in total from diverse backgrounds and is situated in Måløv. In our daily work we link research and final production for Launch and drive the entire variety of injectable projects from early stage (phase 1-2) to late-stage (phase 3/PV) development. The development projects in the department include all injectables across all therapeutic indications comprising GLP-1 products, insulins, haemophilia products, monoclonal antibodies, and RNAi.

The job

We offer you a position, where you have the responsibility for product and process development to secure optimal pharmaceutical characteristics and stability.

In the team you help set a clear scientific direction and inspire your colleagues with your positive and can-do attitude.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate with project teams, and be responsible for designing, interpreting, and reporting studies on drug products.
  • Take ownership of writing documentation for internal and external use including clinical trial applications and submission documents.
  • Interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, e.g., Product Supply, Regulatory affairs, Quality Assurance, Research- and Analytical Development.
  • Together with your colleagues you take initiative, encourage, and contribute to the on-going optimisation of processes and systems with LEAN as the guiding principle.

Qualifications

You hold a PhD or a M.Sc. within Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biophysics, Engineering of related field of study preferably backed by 2-3 years of working experience within drug product development.

Preferably, you have:

  • Experience in formulation and/or process development and documentation, including regulatory and quality aspects of drug development projects.
  • Ability to promote collaboration with other parts of the organisation as the position requires close interaction with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge within data handling and high attention to detail.
  • You possess strong communication skills both verbally and written in English and it is an advantage but not a requirement to handle spoken and written Danish.

At the same time, you work systematically and can adhere to strict documentation and quality standards.
