Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? Join us as an intern in a fast-moving department in Novo Nordisk and embrace the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues. This is a full-time internship, but we remain flexible, enabling you to combine an internship with project work or writing your bachelor/master’s thesis. It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice.
About the department
As a part of Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) in Product Supply, Manufacturing Development (ManDev) supports DFP production sites across the world by creating innovative improvements to manufacturing processes while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance. DFP ManDev Business Support is a team consisting of 16 skilled and professional employees that drive a broad range of business processes and supporting activities across ManDev incl. management support, financial planning, strategy and business plans, training, cLean, quality, facility management as well as environment, health & safety.
The position
The internship will include a variety of tasks with a primary focus on finance in ManDev. Within the role you will have the opportunity to digitalise our financial reporting by developing digital dashboards using Alteryx and Tableau, as well as to optimise our internal financial processes. In the fall, we will initiate a zero-based budgeting project and you will be a key member of the team supporting the process and the follow-up. Based on your competences and interests, you will also support other activities across the team. You can anticipate varied workdays and you will be considered as an integrated team member. Moreover, you can expect continuous feedback and support on the work you deliver and on your personal development.
• Internship period: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Working hours: Flexible (min. 30 and max. 37 hours a week)
• Start date: Preferably 1-Sep-2020
• Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
• A Danish full time work permit is required
Qualifications
You are currently studying on your bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or similar with strong results.
We are looking for an intern who is ambitious, pro-active and works independently. You work in a structured way with high quality standards, possess a sharp eye for details and see opportunities for optimisations. You have strong analytical skills and experience with Alteryx/Tableau/Excel and can present data in an easy-to-understand manner. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
