The HR Business partner role :
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to act as a vital, trusted and key advisor to managers within Fremantle. The territories that this role will oversee include: Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. This is a key role responsible for delivering professional, first class HR support regarding all people and organisational issues within a creative and commercial business. The HRBP will work towards developing a leadership and development culture and building a strong talent agenda, ensure the company is compliant in all HR matters, to help deliver advice and coaching to managers on all HR issues including OD, performance, talent, reward, ER issues and change programmes.

About the team
The Human Resources Department is responsible for ensuring the HR strategy is effectively implemented. As one would imagine in a strongly talent-led business, HR has an influential role to play within the business and works closely with all the senior managers. The Head Office is based in London but HR teams are also located in Germany, US, Australia, Spain, Italy and France. The London HR team collaborate with the HR teams worldwide to implement the HR strategy. Development of talent is important as is experience in supporting and coaching managers through change programmes, as the business is fast-paced and never stands still. Therefore this role will be charged with both strategic projects and day to day operational challenges.

Ýour responsibilities in the role :
  • Employee Relations and Employment Law, Coach and provide advice to managers in all relevant matters related to employee relation and employment law
  • Talent management Drive the talent agenda that supports the goals of the business ensuring that the Company can attract and retain strong and diverse talent through a variety of different methods and programmes.
  • Pay and Benefits and Departmental Organisation Oversee annual salary review and bonus processes.
  • Learning and Development Assess development needs of your client groups, in line with business priorities and goals
  • Change Management Review and assess current contracts and policies across the NOREEBA territories
  • Projects Lead on and assist with various HR projects (such Employee Survey, etc). Assist in the identification, planning and implementation of longer term strategic change.

Your profile :
  • Solid experience of working with a creative client group.
  • Experience of working with a transient workforce.
  • An understanding of the TV freelance market and related employment and tax matters would be highly desirable.
  • Educated to degree or similar level.
  • Sound employment law and employee relations knowledge.
  • Experience in developing learning and development initiatives would be desirable but not essential
  • A positive and motivated attitude with a proactive approach, always seeking improvement.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and confidence of managers, with the skills to challenge manager’s ideas and practices in a constructive and influential way.
  • Able to demonstrate a calm and flexible approach when dealing in a fast-paced, commercial and creative environment.
  • Highly organised and able to think strategically and analytically in order to identify and implement solutions.
  • A clear communicator both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach.
  • Able to adjust to multiple demands and be flexible.
  • Willingness to ‘pitch in’ and help as part of the team, when required.
