As a student assistant in Maersk HQ HR you will become part of HQ HR Employee Advisors and Employee Experience Partners team, consisting of 11 dedicated and caring colleagues based at the Headquarters in Esplanaden, Copenhagen. You will get an opportunity to improve and delivering core HR processes with the employee centricity at core.
You will join one of the largest HR transformations implementing new people processes, systems and ways of working, where you’d get hands-on experience through training and testing. You will have a chance to get a better understanding of Maersk structure and gain insights of Maersk strategy execution in becoming the global integrator of container logistics. As part of our annual people wheel, you’d be supporting employee centric events and processes like Diversity & Inclusion weeks, Health weeks, Pride, Engagement, Rewards and Compensation.
Work hours are flexible, especially around examination period. We expect you to work approx. 15-20 hours per week.

As a student assistant in HQ HR Employee Advisory team you will be responsible for the following:
• Be in direct contact with employees according to the annual HR cycle;
• Be accountable for administrating incoming requests in our shared mailbox, following through on requests for completion;
• Work in close collaboration with our internal teams (HR Business Partners, payroll, tax) as well as our outsourced vendors (IBM, NGA, Deloitte and Crown) to deliver seamless employee experience;
• Be a single point of contact in the team for a specific area in HR, based on your interest, that would allow you to learn and grow on the job;
• Drive HR communications through various channels and find opportunities to promote Maersk employee centricity, drive Diversity & Inclusion and engagement;
• Be part of one of the largest HR transformations and help implementing new processes, system and ways of working.

You demonstrate excellent to native levels of proficiency in both verbal and written English, as well as specific copywriting skills.
You are in your Bachelor’s or in the early part of your Master’s in HR, Business administration or a related field.
You have high learning agility, curiosity, and strong follow-through.
You have a passion for people and is by nature compassioned, inclusive and empathetic.
You are self-starter, well-organized, and capable of working towards agreed objectives without excessive supervision.
You are a multi-tasker, who approaches work with a high level of energy and is open to the challenges of a busy, international work environment.
A student work permit is required if you are not an EU citizen.
