Key responsibilities


In this position you will be responsible for the standard TPM track, which currently covers third parties interacting with government officials or third parties procuring business on behalf of Maersk as well as for the special TPM track, which currently covers pre-acquisition integrity due diligence of M&A transactions, vetting Joint Ventures and partners thereof, etc.

You will manage the compliance resources, ensuring that Maersk has a Compliance TPM team sufficient in number and skills.

Other key tasks:

• Implement and maintain an effective Compliance TPM programme at Maersk covering compliance risks, such as corruption, sanctions, export controls, but also competition, human rights and other risks as and when appropriate
• Manage and execute policies and procedures which govern Maersk’s Compliance TPM programme
• Monitor the performance of the Compliance TPM programme, carry out risk assessments and compliance reviews (spot checks, implementation of internal controls) to ensure policies and procedures are being followed
• Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders, in particular Procurement to align, optimise and streamline processes
• Support the organisation in complying with existing and developing laws and regulations as well as regulators’ requirements relating to effective TPM

You will report to the Head of Compliance Programme Operations and be part of a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals.

We are looking for


The ideal candidate will have a degree in for example public/foreign affairs, economics, laws, accounting or an equivalent discipline combined with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.

You have experience within risk management and maintaining a compliance programme, including conducting due diligence.

You have strong intercultural skills, enjoy connecting and collaborating with people and working in a challenging environment.

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

You are practically minded, forward-looking and organised with a great eye for details.

The role requires a strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.
