As our new VM Creative Development Manager you will be part of a talented team whose role is to:
• develop windows and in-store campaign to support our commercial calendar (TLU) as well as local activations in our 2800 stores globally
• develop bespoke window and in-store campaigns for key locations to further drive brand heat
• consolidate feedback post campaign implementations in order to identify best-practices and to improve future campaigns
• establish and sustain a strong and coherent visual language in windows and in-store
• keep an eye on retail trends and competitors.
You will play a key role in the launch of our new products and collections in store, ensuring a 360-consistency with other marketing initiatives (incl. digital).
Your main responsibilities are to:
• own the creative development process of your campaigns from the reception of the brief until its implementation in-store
• manage internal and external graphic design resources, as well as external creative agencies
• follow the timeline in order to ensure a smooth process and secure deadlines
• prepare all necessary elements (mood boards, design intention, renders, samples, etc..) for the multiple check-ins and sign-off meetings with our key stake holders, as well as for the consumer tests we are conducting for all major campaigns
• adapt your creative direction to the different store concepts and fixtures
• work closely with our VM Implementation team to ensure that your campaigns support the commercial objectives and the different merchandising scenarios
• determine VM packages for the different levels of support (A+, A, B and C), in alignment with budget guidance
• Develop the supplier brief of all campaign materials in close collaboration with the Retail Operations team. Testing, reviewing and validating samples
• Develop a comprehensive POS ordering guidelines for our clusters and provide support in the ordering process and budget optimization.
Moreover, as our new VM Creative Development Manager you keep yourself informed with the latest retail trends (materials, colors, innovations) and identify external partners (creative agencies, graphic designers) which could support the creative development process and provide extra manpower when needed.
You monitor the execution of your campaigns, providing constructive feedback to clusters and identifying best-practices and potential challenges for the next campaigns.
Your new team:
You are part of the Global VM team which consists of the VM Implementation team, the VM training team and the VM creative team, 13 team members all reporting to the Global VM Director.
The VM department is part of Retail Marketing which also includes Store Design, Retail Communications and Retail Operations teams. You will be working in a dynamic, inspiring and international environment surrounded with dedicated, passionate and creative colleagues.
Your will be closely collaborating with:
- Two existing VM creative development managers,
- Your VM and Retail Marketing colleagues,
- Global Business Units (GBU),
- Brand Identity and Communication team.
Professional competencies:
• Proven track record for developing strong campaigns for high profile and Global retail brands with focus on premium execution
• Experience in product styling with focus on commerciality, preferably for Jewelry and Fashion apparels
• Good understanding of the consumer journey in store and what it takes to drive traffic and conversion
• Ability to transform creative ideas to applicable and scalable concepts
• Good project management skills
• Experience in developing creative briefs for external partners
• Experience in developing supplier briefs, in providing feedback to suppliers and in suggesting alternatives in order to keep on with budget and timelines
• Expert in InDesign, Photoshop and PowerPoint
• Good English skills, both spoken and written

• Strong aesthetic sense and a true interest for design, fashion and art
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Structured and organized, able to work under tight deadlines and to adapt to moving targets
• Possessing extremely good communication and interpersonal skills
• Easily expresses his/her thoughts and conceptual ideas through visual references
• Open and outgoing personality with a high level of energy and able to address leaders of all levels and with different personalities
• A true team-player who enjoys a dynamic and high pace workplace
