Senior Communication Project Manager in Executive Office to drive commercial strategy engagement

The position
As Senior Communication Project Manager in the Commercial Strategy Corporate Affairs (CSCA) Executive Office, you will be responsible for driving engagement activities around our commercial and corporate affairs strategies.
You will develop impactful leadership communication, prepare presentations and execute communication activities for primarily internal stakeholders in collaboration with other communication functions and the Executive Vice President (EVP) Communication Partner. Throughout, you will engage with teams, both across CSCA, Operations and other parts of Novo Nordisk and vendors.

We are responsible for driving global commercialisation of our products by setting short and long term direction through clear strategies, driving global access to our portfolio, and evolving our commercial business model in a sustainable way and with use of new digital solutions.
The Executive Office is headed up by the Executive Assistant (EA) to the EVP of CSCA and is responsible for the areas of leadership communication, strategic projects, and business processes. We are a small diverse team who values teamwork and strong collaboration to ensure excellent deliveries on small and big matters!

The position
As Senior Communication Project Manager in the Commercial Strategy Corporate Affairs (CSCA) Executive Office, you will be responsible for driving engagement activities around our commercial and corporate affairs strategies.
You will develop impactful leadership communication, prepare presentations and execute communication activities for primarily internal stakeholders in collaboration with other communication functions and the Executive Vice President (EVP) Communication Partner. Throughout, you will engage with teams, both across CSCA, Operations and other parts of Novo Nordisk and vendors.
The main areas of responsibility include:
- Lead the global roll-out of our commercial and corporate affairs strategies through the annual Commercial Strategy Summit, by setting clear direction and in collaboration with stakeholders across CSCA teams, Operations, technical support staff, and vendors
- Drive key live, virtual, and hybrid events, including CSCA leadership meetings, town halls, EVP engagements, and other cross CSCA events, incl. planning, logistics, content, channel and execution
- Take ownership and drive content development for CSCA and EVP communication channels incl. SharePoint, Yammer, LinkedIn, etc
- Support the development of internal communication tactics, materials, and channels in collaboration with EVP Communication partner

Qualification
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to be a strong project leader with a keen interest in communication and have:
- Master’s degree in communication, business, journalism, or public relations
- 3-5 years of experience within the area of communications (corporate / brand), with documented results from a wide range of communication disciplines
- Background leading major organizational events, covering both communication, budget management, technical setup, and execution
- Strong project management skills ensuring progress according to plan and timeliness, with the ability to write, think visually, and coordinate cross-brand and cross-functional initiatives
- Pharmaceutical marketing/commercial understanding and experience in Headquarters, region, and/or affiliate
- Fluency in written and spoken English
It is an advantage to have:
- Disease market knowledge within diabetes, obesity, and/or other chronic disease areas (e.g. cardiovascular)
