The position
As our new Global Project Director for Cell Therapy, you will be responsible for timely planning and proper execution of projects, and initiate these, based on identified and agreed needs to fulfil objectives on departmental and/or project level(s). The projects will inform how we will build the commercial model for Novo Nordisk in cell therapy, the projects include among other things; high touch support, treatment site certification, product journey and will help inform how the go to market model will look globally.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Initiate and drive the development of high touch support, treatment site certification roll outs, together with relevant internal and external partners.
• Set direction, develop skills set, coach, and guide the global affiliate project managers to fulfil project goals and apply corrective actions when necessary.
• Seek clarification and ensure alignment on internal and technical aspects of the projects together with relevant internal stakeholders, as well as negotiations with external partners.
• Build, in relationship with the rest of the team and key stakeholders the foundation of the Novo Nordisk cell therapy commercial model
• Strategy of Cell therapy market understanding and development which is a new area for Novo Nordisk with the rest of the team and effectively manage financial deliverables of Cell therapy budget.
• Develop relationships and secure engagement with internal and external stakeholders for strategy development & execution and affiliate support and collaboration.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• Track record of successful major global projects that cut across the value chain and are cross functional in collaboration with R&D, external stakeholders and the commercial unit
• Experience working with R&D, marketing, pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or other highly regulated environments. Preferably international exposure in a large organisation.
• Experience in implementing new products or processes in a way that has not been done before.
• A master's degree within Science or Business and significant proven experience in early commercialisation and portfolio strategy (both short- and long-term)

Your passion is working in unknown territory and committing to long-term goals that will impact millions of patients as well as the Novo Nordisk business. You have strong personal drive and dedication, assertive and able to ensure progress in a difficult stakeholder landscape. You are a strong communicator and are fluent in English.

The small and dedicated commercial team leads commercial efforts, partners with key stakeholders in the Transformational Research Unit, Product Supply and Operations and engage broadly in the internal and external ecosystem around stem-cell based therapies.
