About the department
You will become part of the Strategy & Organisational Readiness unit in the SVP area P&O Business Partnering. The department is responsible for driving P&O-related M&A activities globally and other strategic projects or activities that support the organisational development of Novo Nordisk. We are a small, dedicated group of people who values diversity and thrive in a social working atmosphere with a direct communication style.
The position
The Business Development P&O Lead will lead global Novo Nordisk merger, acquisition, joint-venture, or divestiture activities, including end-to-end due diligence, integration planning and integration execution. This role will drive a cross-functional P&O team to achieve the business objectives defined in each deal and will coordinate all M&A activities with internal and target stakeholders. You will lead projects and cross-functional project teams and will help develop Novo Nordisk Global business development capabilities for P&O and support key activities in the S&OR function.
Travelling will be required up to 30 days per year.
This role reports to the VP of Strategy & Organisational Readiness, Julie Ilum Gronemann and directly supports the Director of P&O Business Development.
The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications
The person we are looking for has:
- 3-5 years of experience from consultancy or from a business development department in a larger company
- A track record showing strong ability to drive complex and strategic projects with high involvement of senior management - and the toolbox to support
- Strong global HR operating model design experience, experience with M&A (target screening, due diligence, and integration) as well as experience from Pharma are clear advantages but not pre-requisites
