About the team
You will be a part of our Innovation Hub within Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will be mainly at our test facility in Kalundborg and our global specialist centre in Bagsvaerd. Our mission is to minimise and/or eliminate human interventions through manufacturing of our injectable products by means of robotics and automation.
In the Innovation Hub team, you will work together with highly engaged academics, project managers, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting professional challenges and development opportunities in an innovative environment.
The job
Your overall objective is to conceive and develop automated solutions to optimise our manufacturing by means of Vision Technology, Machine Learning and Robotics. In collaboration with other engineers and experts you will be responsible for the design and implementation of prototypes and solutions within processes which today are handled manually. You will be responsible for developing, maturing and implementing the solutions and technologies at our test site and furthermore support a roll-out in our global production network. Apart from hands-on design and implementation, your tasks will be very varied and include innovation sprint facilitation, idea generation, design of solutions, testing and coordination. You will act as project member or project lead, depending on your experience.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant MSc, with a degree e.g. within Machine Vision Technology and Machine Learning – preferably with experience within Robotics. You have an innovation mind set and documented experience working in a development environment. Experience with combination of Machine Vision Technology, Machine Learning and Robotics will be a great plus.
You will to some extent be working together with external partners and therefor you must be outgoing and eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships. When working in this role, with external partners and navigating among multiple stakeholder interests, your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success.
