About the position

As our Automation Lead you will set guidelines how to implement new automated solutions and taking the right decisions on the production. You will play an important role both in the daily work and in systems and process upgrading. You will ensure that our MES and PCS solutions continues to stay stable. The job gives you an opportunity to become part of upgrading our production IT platform.

Qualifications

  • You will be an important part of our team as you probably have:
  • Academic degree, preferably within automation or IT
  • Several years of experience in MES and PCS systems e.g.: Syncade and DeltaV
  • Virtual server environments knowledge e.g.: Microsoft Hyper-V, OPC and SQL databases
  • Knowledge of GMP, LEAN tools and validation methods
  • Good communication skills in both Danish and English

You have a strong desire to continuously improve your process knowledge and provide the best solutions for the production in close collaboration with the team. Your fact-based solutions are solid, and you are keen to translate complex technical issues to people from various backgrounds to help you in putting your ideas into action.

About the Department

Product Supply (PS) Biotech and Rare Disease is the organisational unit in Product Supply that make all our Rare Disease products and are establishing Cell Therapy production facilities. Alongside this we support the diabetes therapy area by producing Glucagon and we are also moving towards producing for Obesity. Through many years of dedicated effort, we have automated and refined our production lines, and we are always looking for better ways to serve more patients.

You will join the Digital, Data & IT organization which supports the BRD API FVII plant in Kalundborg, where Active Ingredients for NovoSeven are cultivated and purified, helping people living with haemophilia. The IT and Automation team consist of 15 highly skilled and very committed colleagues. The team maintain the automation systems anchored around Syncade and DeltaV. Our processes are highly regulated as any quality deviation must be identified to mitigate any potential impact on our product. To prove our compliance, all our changes are validated and documented to meet all relevant requirements. We all share a dedication to achieve ambitious goals, and we have the track record to do it with confidence.
