About the department

Product Supply, Quality & IT (PS, Q & IT) is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with more than 19,000 employees globally across five continents. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products and the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities.

You will be part of the Business Finance team residing in PS, Q & IT Finance department. The department consists of around 30-35 people from approx. 10 countries with diverse backgrounds and acts as a centre of excellence in financial planning, production accounting, investments, and compliance for Novo Nordisk globally. We use our varying experience to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the global Product Supply organisation. You will be working in the headquarters with an environment characterised by innovation, openness, and highly engaged colleagues who work dedicated towards helping us change lives for the better for patients worldwide.

About the position

As a finance business partner in PS, Q & IT Business Finance, your primary role will be to drive financial analysis to support strategic decision making. The tasks include:

  • Drive business cases and support mgmt. decision making through analysis and business understanding
  • Planning and driving the processes across the PSQIT business units during budget rounds and at month-end-closing
  • Supporting the organisation with financial advice and creating business review material for senior stakeholders
  • Participate in Month-End and Year-End closing processes
  • Optimising the processes and driving data transparency to enable sound decision making
  • Collaborating closely with ambitious and talented stakeholders
  • Help deciding and developing which processes and tools are needed to create the right level of financial transparency and reporting
  • Other ad hoc tasks

The job offers frequent senior management interaction and engagement with stakeholders across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network while driving activities and projects related to the production sites globally.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, we expect that:

  • You hold a master’s degree as a minimum and 2-3 years of experience within business analysis, business controlling, finance, accounting or similar
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity of nature and willingness to use this to dive into the challenges
  • It is in advantage if you have knowledge within SAP or other ERP system as well as experience with presentation and BI tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel
  • You master English on a professional level as it is the company language

As a person, you are curious, have a drive to succeed and the ability to work independently and in teams. Also, see yourself as an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables.
