If so, then you might be our new Digital Innovation Consultant we are looking for to play a key role in the acceleration of digital transformation and emerging technologies in Novo Nordisk. The digital innovation consultant role is highly dynamic – we are looking for a flexible profile willing and excited to adapt to multiple digital opportunities – potentially shifting focus to a specific region, project or therapy area in the future. As a digital innovation consultant, your first responsibility will be to build and execute a program of digital transformation initiatives and programs across IO. You will be working directly with multiregional colleagues including at our global digital innovation hubs as well as our regional offices to build & ‘glocalize’ a portfolio of digital transformation initiatives. Some exciting things you will get to work on include:
  • Leading cross-functional activities that leverage and communicate emerging technologies, facilitate ideation processes, communicate convincingly and clearly to stakeholders across the business
  • Act as a trusted advisor with a strong understanding of business challenges and constraints
  • Curating & coordinating of Digital Trends reports tailored to IO, regions or markets
  • Participate in the delivery of a clear guideline and process to capture digital projects across regions and markets and proposing reporting. Includes coordination and reporting.
  • Driving community, events & speakers, functional and regional meetings, executing on annual digital events
  • Supporting Digital Transformation, Preparation & Documentation for management and key stakeholders along with building and proliferating Digital Toolbox
  • Do you have what it takes? As an ideal candidate, you have:
  • Relevant Master’s degree rooted in technology and/or innovation management along with knowledge and passion for digital trends
  • Few years of experience in consulting, product management, project management and/or innovation as well as taking ownership and driving results with the ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Deep knowledge in planning and executing on a digital transformation program, including community-building aspects such upskilling, portfolio mapping and events is a plus, especially in pharma or healthcare
  • Strong analytical, technical and business skills to navigate the landscape of transformative opportunities for Novo Nordisk
  • Flair to developing relationships and working with multiple stakeholders on high-profile, cross-functional, and multinational initiatives
  • On a personal level are structured, vibrant and a great communicator with strong stakeholder skills so able to move stakeholders ranging from technically-minded colleagues to C-level executives. Furthermore, you can navigate between changing landscapes internally and externally – with an eye for win-win-solutions that truly matter. Since our corporate language is English we expect you to have excellent business English skills. Who are we? Innovation Consulting is a part of the Business Innovation Garage, an established digital unit in Novo Nordisk that identifies and drives growth opportunities created by emerging technology – and with commercial value. The Garage is comprised of three teams - Innovation Consulting: Consulting on digital from ideation to pilot; Open Innovation: Scouting start-ups and building frameworks for accelerated external collaboration; and Digital Transformation & Moonshot Factory: Digital Strategy development with the purpose to elevate and align Digital Innovation efforts across the business. Building moonshots - explorative projects that have 10X disruption potential. Organizationally, we are a part of the Digital Incubator & Innovation area, within Global Digital, Data & IT. Overall, our core focus is to remain forward-looking and showcase strong adaptability. Furthermore, we work in a highly agile manner and must be able to shift focus based on rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies.
