The position As SVP Lean Partner, you are responsible for driving and implementing the overall LEAN agenda and operational excellence strategy within CSDS, leveraging LEAN capabilities and initiatives to advance our top strategic priorities. The successful execution of the strategy is crucial for both immediate and long-term achievements and provides opportunities to shape our strategic direction. You operate within an exciting and dynamic environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, from the SVP of CSDS to first-line leaders and operators. Representing CSDS across Product Supply, you are in a position that requires a strategic mindset, strong dedication to operational excellence, and solid stakeholder management skills. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Setting the strategic direction for LEAN within CSDS, ensuring consistent and widespread adoption of LEAN principles
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and management teams regarding LEAN-related matters
  • Collaborating with CSDS SVP LEAN leaders and management team to enhance shopfloor performance
  • Supervising LEAN training initiatives and monitoring LEAN methodology development
  • Overseeing a dedicated network of skilled team members, fostering progress throughout the SVP area, while continually identifying and enhancing behaviour and culture aligned with LEAN strategy and methodology.
    • The primary work location is in Bagsværd, Denmark, with an expectation of occasional work at various sites in Denmark and some international travel. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine you:
  • Hold a master’s degree complemented by at least 5 years of practical experience in LEAN optimization, project management, and strategy deployment.
  • Feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Possess robust communication, facilitation, and visualization skills.
  • Display strong adaptability and analytical capabilities to new business settings.
  • Are passionate about translating strategy into action and being active on the shopfloor.
    • It would be considered an advantage if you possess prior management experience in production or production-like environments. As a person, you are characterized by your strong motivation and a deep commitment to LEAN thinking. Your innate ability to connect with people allows you to harness the skills needed for effective management and strong stakeholder engagement. Furthermore, your analytical skills stand, coupled with your unwavering passion for translating strategic ideas into practical actions. You thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment and cultivate a cooperative, optimistic atmosphere where people are valued and where decisions are made in a transparent manner. About the department You will join CSDS, which is the SVP area responsible for CSDS across all product portfolios, external contributors, and on behalf of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). This includes strategic sourcing and sourcing operations, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers, and local manufacturing. You will be part of a small but growing team of 4 LEAN professionals, centrally located, that are working together to reinforce LEAN knowledge and mindset across CSDS.
