What we’re looking for To be our new DNS & DHCP Services Architect, we are looking for a candidate who can tick off most of the following requirements: 5-10 years of experience working with DNS and DHCP in enterprise environments High-level knowledge of Windows and Bind DNS Good knowledge of Route 53, Private link, Linux, and proficiency in one or more programming languages Good understanding of the complexity of an enterprise Knowledge of networking technologies and concepts Hands-on experience working with core infrastructure services like MS ADDS, PKI, DNS, DHCP, and the interaction between cloud and on-prem resources in a hybrid environment
To be ready to be our technical lead in our DNS journey going forward, as a person we want you to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliancy environment. What’s the role about? You will join a global product team of IT colleagues belonging to Identity Access Management and Security Access Management (IAMSAM) in Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (CCI), part of the department Global IT Operations. The product team supports Agile product areas belonging to CCI and other parts of Global IT Operations. As the role is based in Denmark (DK), you will be part of a local department in CCI DK, consisting of a group of highly skilled and dedicated employees responsible for cloud architecture, Identity Access Management, and infrastructure monitoring. You will report to the People Leader of the team. The IAMSAM team consists of 15+ team members from Denmark, India, and the US. We are accountable for technologies such as MS ADDS, Azure AD, several federation services and SSO, Azure MFA, Azure Conditional Access, DNS, DHCP, and PKI. The team has a strong focus on learning while delivering high quality and having fun. As our DNS & DHCP Services Designer you will: Design future DNS & DHCP services to fit our scaling needs across our multi-cloud landscape Engage in an RfP to find the future provider and solution to deliver an orchestration and maintenance overlay to current siloed services Be a point of 3rd escalation for change, incident, and problem handling, providing advanced technical support to 1st and 2nd support teams from the supplier site Optimize current DNS & DHCP services through automation and integration to ServiceNow Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of DNS software components Continuously evaluate and incorporate industry best practices and emerging technologies into DNS architecture
