The Position
As an Associate Manager you will lead a team of Operators in our production. Moreover, you will play a key part in developing your team to continuously improve performance as well as deliver excellent results. Apart from that, you will have the responsibility to coordinate and prioritize resources and tasks in the team to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain more capacity and a stable production of high quality products. In addition, you will be part of the management team and will work closely with your management colleagues on day-to-day operations and people management related matters.

As you will be working closely with stakeholders across our organization, your written and spoken communication skills in English and Danish – or willingness to learn - must be excellent.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem solving. You are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality. To succeed you need to be able to keep calm and make decisions in a busy work environment, where the agenda changes frequently. As a leader you see and match your employees needs and ambitions, where you naturally adapt your leadership style, ask curious questions and can communicate on all levels of our organisation.

You will be part of a dynamic business area in constant development which produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world. Our production is located in Kalundborg and we have an open position in Fermentation & Recovery.

The Position
As an Associate Manager you will lead a team of Operators in our production. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure production support and product release.
- Set objectives and targets to realise productivity, cost optimizations and continuous improvements including prioritization and portfolio management of multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- Lead the operator team by developing competencies, coaching, and training the employees to ensure the right composition of skills to address current and future needs.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning of resources.
- Assure quality and compliance of product and process.
- Assist in further development of LEAN production.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role:
- You preferably hold a master in Engineering, Biotechnology or equivalent to that, and have at least 3 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with production and/or development of pharmaceutical products is crucial.
- Ideally, you have experience from GMP regulated areas and possess LEAN knowledge.
