Are you ready for a job where you take up responsibility for both our Chemical Raw Materials and our packagning raw materials? We are looking for a new colleague in our growing R&D Manufacturing Development at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.

About the department
The Manufacturing Development department in Novo Nordisk Pharmatech constists of 21 dedicated employees split it two teams. You will become Analytical Development Scientist in the Development team consisting of 13 chemists, specialists and Project Managers that develop and supply novel materials for manufacturing of therapeutic proteins in the biopharmaceutical industry. We work in close collaboration with our customers to develop optimal purification solutions for new and existing molecules used for the treatment of many different conditions. The atmosphere is relaxed, creative and characterised by our growth mindset.

The position
As a Development Scientist your job can have a varity of different focuses. We are looking for a person who can thrive with various tasks with our portfolio of raw material development activities:
- Responsibility for our chemical raw materials
- Responsibility for our Primary and secondary packaging materials
- Collect, justify and maintain our requirements for raw materials, primary and secondary packaging and labels
- Interpretation and understanding of authority guidelines and regulations for excipients and APIs
- Collecting information from stakeholders in production, support, and EHS
- Setting up relevant studies in our R&D laboratory to support production
- Contributing to deviations
- Performing literature studies
You will be working in an environment driven by curiosity and scientific understanding.
Qualifications
- We expect you hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or another relevant field within pharmaceutical sciences.
- New and recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Specific knowledge within chemical raw materials is an advantage but not a requirement
- Specific knowledge within primary/secondary packaging is an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience from the pharmaceutical environment is an advantage-
