API QA Strategy Office is looking for a talented candidate to fill the position as Department Assistant (Maternity Cover) for the department and the management. We need you as a backbone and support to build structures and governances in the team and on a managerial level.
About the Department
API QA Strategy Office is a department with approximate 14 engaged and motivated employees. As Department Assistant you will be a part of the management team and report to the department manager for API QA Strategy Office.
You will join the business area API QA Strategy Office, which is a part of API Quality. Within this area you will be a part of department who drives projects, strategy, audits & inspections, IT, and digitalisation and much more. We are newly established department of 14 and still growing. Our purpose is to set direction within our area of expertise and enable API QA to meet our goals.
Our ambition is to provide world class support to our key stakeholders, and we take pride in delivering on our commitments.
The position
You will be an active member of the management team interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. You will support the department manager in a wide range of tasks including coordinating management activities, reporting, hiring process, keeping manning overview, planning of seminars, contributing to department strategy and organisational change management initiatives, and much more. The department manager is responsible for EA tasks to the CVP of API QA which means that you will be strong player within seminars, strategy processes, cross organisational meetings and much more across API QA
You must be able to prioritise own tasks and work independently and we expect you to be forward-looking. You will use your curiosity to drive new initiatives, improve processes, and bring forward ideas for improvement that will benefit both colleagues and managers in their daily work.
You will be part of and work closely with the API QA assistants’ group where you will solve tasks across the area. You possess a ‘need-to’ mind-set to avoid over-processing and this will help us keep administrative processes standardised across the organisation.

You will start in the position by February 15, 2023, to make sure that the handing over will be possible, and the Maternity Cover will end by January 31, 2024.

You can effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow-up in a proactive and timely manner. You can work independently and always strive to find solutions to challenges at hand. You have the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment.

Qualifications
- You have excellent presentation and communication skills
- You have experience with MS Office365 and the interconnected functionalities. Especially we expect experience with the platforms Teams and Planner as they are essential tools in a virtual setting
- You are skilled in both written and spoken Danish and English
- Preferably you have been part of a management team, or you are familiar with management and change management theories to some level
- Preferably you have 3-5 years of experience from a similar position
