The position
As Future Operations Manager, you will be heading up a technology department working to digitalise, automate, and optimise production processes across our API facilities in both Denmark and the United States.

About the department
The position of Manager for Future Operations is placed in the Business Support area at our API site in Kalundborg with is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to 14.000 employees worldwide. The team is newly established and currently consists of 13 highly engaged employees who need a manager to help them shape the future of API operations. The API Business Support area consists of about 120 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At the site Kalundborg, we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7 distributed to patients worldwide.

The position

- drive and prioritise the strategy and activities around the comprehensive technology innovation and ongoing implementation.
- interact with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation ensuring alignment while also establishing strategic partnerships with academia to enable co-creation and innovation.
This is a newly established position, which gives you a significant impact on the role and the responsibility of building and developing the department to fit the needs of the future.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- Experience with people leadership.
- Experience of working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels; excellent business acumen & interpersonal skills.
- Experience with investment projects. Preferably, you have also worked with digital/technology projects in a GMP and/or production environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Analytical skills – including breaking down the as-is and reengineering processes.
