The Position
We are looking for a colleague with interest and experience within microbiology and GMP to support our QC microbiological analysis laboratory.
In our microbiological team with other dedicated supporters, your main tasks are to ensure a continued reliable analysis delivery to our stakeholders, develop and optimize our current methods, and provide support to colleagues in own department.
You are expected to have a proactive approach to problem solving and an innovative and collaborative mindset in your daily work.

About the Department
The department IM2 QC Laboratory is located in Kalundborg and supports several productions. In addition to performing chemical, biochemical and microbiological analysis, we also have our own equipment team and media production.
We are approx. 120 highly dedicated employees, divided into 6 teams and we are looking for an employee for the microbiological team.

The Position
We are looking for a colleague with interest and experience within microbiology and GMP to support our QC microbiological analysis laboratory.

You are expected to have a proactive approach to problem solving and an innovative and collaborative mindset in your daily work.
Depending on your background and experience, your role will also include:
- Professional responsibility for different methods in our department.
- Prepare or/and comment deviations and change requests.
- Be present with our employees in the production areas when needed. You will serve as a daily sparring partner, and as such you must have a good overview of ongoing tasks, and priorities.
- Support with your proactive behaviour and desire to take new initiatives in optimizing the way we work and ensure implementation by teaching our employees in the new standards.
- Contribute to ongoing optimization of existing processes and equipment. This also entails being curious about how other teams and departments work, bring new knowledge to the department, and sharing knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders in the organisation.
- Challenge existing processes in a respectful and constructive way.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you have:
- A relevant academic degree in natural science or engineering.
- Experience with GMP.
- Experience with process optimization within laboratory processes and procedures.
- Problem solving skills and eager to simplify and create continuous improvements.
- Proficiency in English, written as well as spoken.
