The position
As the Senior Infrastructure Project Manager you will be working on projects that have high strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have high visibility and support from Senior management. To secure the infrastructure as an enabler for major production expansions and daily operations, we are facing large infrastructure upgrades. Together with stakeholders, engineering partners and suppliers you will:
• Design and build large utility and construction expansions
• Manage scope, plan, costs and project risks and secure timely execution
The job requires a high level of stakeholder management at all organisational levels in the company. You will interface with external and internal stakeholders including the public sector. As this is a newly established position, you will get impact on the role and the responsibility of the position.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
• Relevant project management experience with large projects (e.g., related to complex utility infrastructure, building constructions, structure/bridges, or alike).
• Relevant educational background as Master of Engineering, Constructing Architect, Engineer or similar.
• Solid understanding of project management tools and systems, and expert ability to work at a both tactical & strategic level
• Knowledge of various supply categories as steam, cooling, heating, water, etc., as well as experience with managing contracts and a complex vendor setup would be an advantage.
On a personal level, we imagine that you supplement your robust personality with a natural ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. In addition, you have experience with proactively managing numerous and changing priorities effectively, the ability to explain and visualise complex subject knowledge in an easy-to-understand- way, and a good understanding of the importance of paying attention to details. You will thrive in this job if you have strong project management and people manager skills, and if you find it easy to communicate and build relations at all levels.

The position as Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is placed in Business Support at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to 30.000 employees worldwide. The API Business Support consists of about 130 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At site Kalundborg we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
