The position
You will be heading up our site at Kirke Værløse responsible for assembly and packaging of products for patients living with rare diseases. Your management team consists of six associate managers, and you will have the overall responsibility of 100 colleagues working as engineers, process supporters, operators, specialists, and technicians.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Maintain an efficient and safe delivery of quality products
• Coordinate and align with the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and logistics department about production planning to meet the strategic expectations and ever-changing market demands
• Secure that financial resources, capacity expenses, personnel and technical investments are allocated to solve the operational tasks and challenges required to reach our ambitious goals
• Making budget forecasts and ensuring the adherence to both financial targets and production targets to ensure timely delivery. The current production platform consist of 3 assembly lines and 3 packaging lines, new assembly and packaging line will be installed in the coming year introducing a new product
• Ensure the adherence to GMP, safety and quality standards while continuously developing an organisation that is always ready for an exciting future with implementation of new technologies, MI automatization, equipment maintenance, capacity expansions and the many ongoing efforts to truly make us an industry 4.0 facility
As a people leader your most important tasks will be to ensure a high level of engagement in the management team, evaluate and develop the skills of your managers and drive the LEAN journey forward. You will report to the CVP of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Finished Products (FP) Gentofte and Værløse (GEVA) and be part of the CVP management team.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our management team because you have:
• Extensive managerial experience including experience in managing leaders.
• Experience with AP/FP processes and equipment combined with a strong knowledge of an aseptic manufacturing setup.
• A proven track record in developing your employees and department through ambitious goals and strong followship.
• An ability to install LEAN culture around you by enabling and empowering your organisation, and with proven LEAN results.
• A relevant academic degree as a foundation for your solid experience with automation and pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as full professional proficiency in Danish and English.
On a personal level, you feel empowered by the autonomy of being the one who is responsible for driving the development agenda at site Kirke Værløse. You value close collaboration and with your key stakeholders in our facilities at Gentofte. You are strong at prioritizing and creating engagement in your organisation to take the necessary steps to succeed with our strategic agenda.
About the department
BRD FP GEVA is a Corporate Vice President area with production sites situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 700 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities.
Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly, and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
