Do you want to play a key role in helping us making production data available for our production systems and for analytical purposes? You will specifically join a project that needs to implement the use of PI to succeed. If you want to be part of this journey then you should apply for this position.
The team
You will be part of a team that secures daily IT and Automation support to four production facilities. At the same time, we deliver on several small to large projects to these facilities which all are placed in Gentofte. On the organizational level the team belongs to Manufacturing IT, but the team is placed close to production line in the Biotech and Rare Disease production area.
The team consists of 25+ competent, openminded and curious IT and Automation Technicians and Engineers.
The position
We are looking for a Data Engineer that can be the key driver to ensure the correct data historian solutions are: chosen, setup, deployed and used in a way fit for intended purpose so data from production is stored and used in an optimal way in our departments.
That means that in collaboration with your colleagues you will be responsible of setting requirements and proposing solution to suppliers, they then return with design specification that you must review and approve. It will also be your responsibility to test the applied solution and verify that data is accessible in the intended way. The Pilot project will be the PI solution where you will be a key player in the deployment.

Project tasks:
- Map the intended data flow
- Setting requirements for data historian solution
- Sketch solution proposals
- Work with suppliers on finding the right solution
- Approve final design proposals
- Verify the delivered solution
- Create the Standard view that is used in daily operation for release of product (only a small amount of all the data we collect are used when determining if product can be released or not)
- Qualify the data flow
- Write simple guidelines on how to use the solutions for end users
Daily tasks:
- Backend support if our first liner can’t help end users.
- Build new views for end users that has other needs than the standard view (could be maintenance)
- LCM ensuring that we always are prepared at least a year before any key components in the solution goes out of support
- Look into other areas where we can improve our data collection solution
- Help with trouble shotting our SQL based systems

Qualifications
Knowledge within the following areas would be preferred:
- Historian solutions based on SQL
- Current best practice in data integrity
General knowledge within the following areas would be an advantage:
- GAMP 5
- Working in GxP regulated areas.
- General IT architecture understanding
Personal skills
- You are eager to listen and learn and ask a bunch of questions.
- You are self-aware – you know your strengths and pitfalls.
- You know you have to make mistakes to learn.
- You are a self-starter.
- You know you have to work with your team to get the best results.
