The position

As a Freeze Drying Specialist, you will lead process and equipment design development in project activities for investigating a potential new freeze drying facility. The key design principle will be to implement modern, state of the art process design aiming at minimising manual operations and the human/product interface in operations. You must be able to convincingly argue for best solutions from a scientific and GMP-compliant perspective.

You will take active part in building a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You will manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

  • several years of experience within freeze drying operations in a GMP-regulated environment
  • an academic degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering or similar
  • project management experience from cross-organisational project
  • certain knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing
  • English proficiency (verbal and written)
