The position
As a Freeze Drying Specialist, you will lead process and equipment design development in project activities for investigating a potential new freeze drying facility. The key design principle will be to implement modern, state of the art process design aiming at minimising manual operations and the human/product interface in operations. You must be able to convincingly argue for best solutions from a scientific and GMP-compliant perspective.
You will take active part in building a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You will manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.

The position

Qualifications

- several years of experience within freeze drying operations in a GMP-regulated environment
- an academic degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering or similar
- project management experience from cross-organisational project
- certain knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing
- English proficiency (verbal and written)
