The position As our new Health & Safety Coordinator (AMK B) you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all safety aspects on our construction site, ensuring we’re compliant with the highest standards of safety legislation. Your main tasks will be: Maintain overview of ongoing tasks related to Health and Safety on our construction site, ensuring everything is reported and followed up on in a timely manner Conducting and documenting safety inspection rounds and safety meetings ensuring legislative requirements are met Provide guidance on Health and Safety regulations, both within the project organisation but also for externals contractors or visitors, for example doing the induction of the safety standards at the project Maintain site drawings, logistics plans, list of Safety Groups etc. to ensure they are always updated Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and standardization to reduce accidents and near-misses and improve employee well-being in our team and across all Novo Nordisk projects In this position you will act as a role model for creating a safe and healthy working environment on the construction site and will collaborate and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites: Experience working on a construction site. It can be an advantage with relevant education within construction or AMK B certificate, but not a requirement Experience with management systems e.g. ISO 45001 systems is considered an advantage Knowledge of Danish Health and Safety legislation Experience in project management is considered an advantage Fluent in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of Danish is considered an advantage As a person you are passionate and self-driven with a can-do attitude. You enjoy cooperating with many different stakeholders, resulting in a healthy attitude and safe behaviour on site, through your constructive dialogue and systematic influence. Your organized approach and quality mindset helps you be proactive, detail-oriented and focused on the goal. About the department The Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Expansion Project is a critical initiative aimed at constructing new production facilities to expand our API production capabilities.
