As part of Maersk’s Global D&I team, reporting to the Global Head of D&I, you will have responsibility for shaping and driving key aspects of our D&I strategy such as:
• Developing and implementing global policies that support diversity and inclusion.
• Analysis of data to identify opportunities to progress diversity and inclusion further.
• Working closely with our HR community to enable, support and provide expert knowledge on Diversity and Inclusion.
• Working closely with our leaders and people managers to advise and support them in accelerating diversity and inclusion in their respective business areas.
• Partnering with key stakeholders externally to support Maersk participation in programs that help us to build an external pipeline of diverse talent.
• Promote the advancement of newer areas of D&I at Maersk by influencing leaders, creating offerings & incentives that strengthen inclusion for Disability, Ethnicity, Race.
• Accelerating our 5-year Gender Action Plan working with HR and leaders to support their progress in gender diversity and inclusion.
• Supporting our Inclusion networks in the essential work and impact they have across Maersk.
• Disability at Maersk – including, disability disclosure, disability inclusion, awareness and engaging with key stakeholders within Maersk such as Communications and Branding and Technology to ensure we are disability inclusive internally and externally.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in diversity and inclusion management globally or across different regions in a large corporate environment.
You have a proven track record of successfully influencing and engaging with senior leaders as well as leading successful, innovative and impactful diversity work.
Furthermore you:
• Have specialist knowledge and demonstratable achievements for progressing specific areas of diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on gender, disability, ethnicity and LGBTQIA+
• Have experience of working in a globally diverse team and working across different cultures
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a high level of empathy
• Have experience of successfully navigating and delivering within a complex organisation
• Are at ease with ambiguity and challenging the status quo
• Have experience in the development and facilitation of D&I capability building programs
• Have experience of driving impactful diversity and inclusion change programs across each stage of the employee life cycle from, attraction, recruitment, talent management, engagement and retention
• Have demonstrable knowledge of labour and human rights legislation (in own region/country/ globally)
• Have experience of designing policies like anti-discrimination and equal opportunities
• Have solid experience with Microsoft Office applications.
