Do you want to develop data-based solutions, spread the use of statistical methods and work with optimisation and improvement projects within Emerging Technologies in Novo Nordisk? If so, we offer an exciting and challenging position as Statistician.
The position
As a Statistician for all Emerging Technologies you will support the production of oral products, manufacturing processes and analytical methods together with two competent statistician colleagues. You will be working in close cooperation with colleagues from other areas of expertise, focusing on understanding their problems, sparring during development of statistical solutions, and communicating the solutions. You can look forward to a broad variety of tasks. In particular, you deliver and present statistical solutions in a clear language and ensure that they are used as intended. You develop and teach courses and workshops in statistical topics. Furthermore, you will drive or participate in data science-based optimisation and improvement projects to enhance the use of statistical methods. The statistical tools vary and can often be within linear mixed models, design of experiments, general explorative statistics, multivariate statistics, acceptance sampling and statistical process control. Qualifications A strong background in mathematical statistics as Master's in Science in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering. Newly graduated are also encouraged to apply. Preferably experience within applied statistics in the pharmaceutical industry. The composure to keep focus in complicated matters and handle many different tasks at the same time. The ability to work independently with impact and high engagement. Comfortable documenting your work in written reports Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You have experience with statistical software such as R, SAS and possibly SAS JMP. Data manipulation and programming skills are considered a plus. Lastly, you speak and write English.

Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets. ET is well-known for having a pioneering spirit as well as a curious and daring approach and we play a key role in developing and producing future treatments for millions of patients around the world. Our department, Manufacturing Development Support employs approximately 30 highly skilled and motivated employees with the missions to maintain products on the market. Our growing portfolio currently holds solid-dose products within Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), diabetes and obesity. Working at Novo Nordisk
